Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv are Perishable: With Proof

What are the three Gunas (Qualities)? With proof

“All three Gunas are Rajgun Brahma ji, Satgun Vishnu ji, Tamgun Shiva ji.” They are born of Brahma (Kaal) and Prakriti (Durga) and all three are perishable.”

First Proof

Sri Shiva Mahapuran published by Geeta Press Gorakhpur, whose editor is Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddar, Page no. 110 Chapter  9 Rudra Samhita “Thus Brahma-Vishnu and Shiva are inbuilt with three Gunas, but Shiva (Brahma-Kaal) is said to be Guna (Quality less).

Second Proof

Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Purana published by Geeta Press Gorakhpur, which is edited by Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddar Chiman Lal Goswami, 3rd Skanda, Chapter 5 Page 123: –

Lord Vishnu praised Durga: said that I (Vishnu), Brahma and Shankar exist by your grace. We have avarbhava (birth) and tirobhava (death). We are not eternal (imperishable). You are eternal, you are the mother of the world, you are the Goddess of Nature.

Shree Shiv (Shankar) Ji said: If Shree Brahma and Shree Vishnu were born from you, then myself Shankar, is not your child? i.e. you are also the one who produces me. Your qualities are forever in the creation and the destruction of this world. We, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv(Shankar), born of these three Gunas (qualities), perform the work according to the law by yours.

3rd Skanda Chapter 4 Page 10, Verse 42: –

English Translation
(Vishnu said) O mother! Brahma, I and Shiva are born with your influence, we are not eternal, that is, we are not imperishable, and then how can other gods be eternal. You are imperishable, you are the mother of all, the mother who produces us, and you are the nature and the goddess of eternal beauty. (42)

English Translation

Shree Shiv (Shankar) said: Oh mother! If you are kind to us, why made me Tamo guna, why did Brahma born from lotus make Rajo guna and why did Vishnu made Satgun? That is, why did you put us in the misdeeds of birth and death of organisms?

Verse 12: –

English Translation

You are always indulging in pleasures with your husband who is Kaal God. Nobody knows your speed.

Third Skanda Page 14, Chapter 5 Verse 43: –

English Translation

Which is unique in the Vedas is called only a complete Brahm, is it you or someone else? Eliminate my doubts. On Brahma Ji’s prayer, the goddess said :-

English Translation

The goddess said: – This is who I am, Who is that is me, this is the difference due to the confusion. The subtle difference between the two of us, who knows it, is the elementary, no doubt. he is free from separation of the world.

In the presence of suffering, I will present before you only from remembrance. Gods! Always remember me with the power of God, Sanatan Dev. 80. Summarization of both will surely bring success.  Brahmaji said, by gracing and left us with power and Mahalakshmi for Vishnu, Mahakali for Shiva, and gave us Mahasaraswati.

English Translation

My body is called illusion form, God is called the gross body of Brahma. 83.

“Summary of the above Purana sentences”

It became crystal clear that Shree Brahma ji is Rajo Guna, Shree Vishnu ji is Sat Guna and Shree Shiva ji is Tamo Guna. All three gods are perishable and they are born and died. Durga is also called Prakriti. Durga’s husband is Brahm (Kshar Purush / Kaal). She keeps on dealing with him. Both Durga and Brahma are shaped in a gross body.

The same proof is in Gita Chapter 14 verses 3 to 5. Brahma (Kshar Purush / Kaal), the speaker of Gita knowledge, is saying that Prakriti (Durga) is my wife. I place the seed in her yoni (place of conception), from which all beings originate. I am the father of all (beings of twenty-one universe) and nature (Durga / Ashtangi) is the mother of all.

All the three Gunas (qualities)  (Rajo Guna Brahma, Sato Guna Vishnu and Tamo Guna  Shiva) originating from this Durga (Prakriti / Ashtangi) bind other beings to the bondage of deeds.
